I haven't been able to find it in stores but I taped it when it was on Lifetime a couple days ago. I'll let ya know if it's gonna be on anytime soon. :)

i hope this movie is on again soon on a channel i can get becuase itaped it when it first came on tv on abc and my copy is kinda crappy so i want to tape a newer version

well it was just on lifetime today and i taped it i really wished they woulda got a different give girl instead of melissa joan hart i really dont care for her but Jonathan Brandis did a bang up job in this movie 2 thumbs up JB

i live in england, im only 14 but can remember going to my aunties around 1999 and my cousin was watching it, (it was on channel 4) and i remember being horrified seeing a man drinking sea water then watching Sabrina the teenage witch (well you know Melissa joan heart) push this woman into the sea so she could die!! i was only 7 and have never seen this again but can still remember little bits of it!! 2 weeks ago when i asked my mam what it was she said i must have been dreaming or something!! but then i asked my cousin and she told my what it was called and gave me it to watch (she had been recording it back in 1999!) so i started to watch it but was horrified when i found that just as the boat was sinking, my cousin had overtaped it with 'halloween 4' does anyone know when it wil be back on t.v. please...

I pity anyone who pays money for this. I know sometimes it's fun to own rubbish films to watch for a laugh, but this really is terrible. From the use of stock footage for the shark sequences to the pathetic, nausiating monologue that wraps the the whole thing up at the end. This movie really is terrible. Saying that, I would still watch it on tv if there was nothing else on, just for a giggle.

It's now available on DVD in the US, however they don't sell it separately. You have to buy it as a "double feature" with another made for TV movie called A Nightmare Come True. You can find it cheap on Amazon (the highest is $7.99), however I don't want to buy the other movie with it. I just want TCB by itself.
