Christina Ricci shines in this flick

I think Christina Ricci was a really bright spot in this flick. Roger Ebert said it would've been better if Ricci was the photographer and Eddie Furlong was the boyfriend. I agree, but I'm not sure if he would've made a good Laundromat Nazi.

Good movie, lots of laughs, but I think Furlong was the wrong choice. He doesn't have much charisma. Johhny Depp, Stephen Dorff and Johnny Knoxville made much better Waters leading men.

SLF: It wasn't like that

BRENDA: Like WHAT?!? GOD!!!!

I thought furlong did well in this flick. I agree it would have been interesting if ricci was the photographer, she did look more comfortable behind the camera when she had it in her hands.

her performance was good, but it comes no where close to being as good as she was in buffalo 66.

I couldn't agree more, Christina Ricci was wonderfull in this movie. I couldn't believe how bland Edward Furlong was, I can only guess that Waters wanted him to act this way.

i agree with Ebert, female characters are almost always more interesting to follow
