anyone else notice on paper this is the same plot as lionheart just backwards? In lionheart van damme was a legionnaire who leaves the legion to go to become a fighter involved with the criminal underworld. in legionnaire hes a fighter escaping the criminal underworld to join the legion.
shareIt's always that he was on the run from the French Mafia as of being in love with a woman to the boss. In the alternate ending he originally kills that mob boss who's gang he joined the French Legion to flee from but the director also the producer of the film felt it was too violent. I read a script and he aims a gun at that mob boss and he doesn't shoot him.
