ORIGINAL RUSSIAN VERSION ON DVD?

I keep hearing about how the son of the director re-mastered the film back in 2001 but there is 0 info on where one can get a copy of it. I don’t care if there doesn’t have any english subs. I just want so badly to see this film in the way it was intended and not the Humanoid Woman US release. Anyone have a clue?

Ok I did a lot of searching out there on the net and found this web site that offers a nice anamorphic transfer on DVD http://www.russianbeat.com/v_tree.cfm?TITLEIDCLICKED=959&CHAR=%D7. Most of the site is in Russian but all the payment and ordering info are in English. I ordered mine last week and it has just come in. If you really like this film for its original version than this site has the DVD for you.

Here's a another site where you can order one of the DVD releases: http://www.russiandvd.com/store/product.asp?sku=32477&genreid=&genresubid=

But can anyone confirm that either of the versions have English Subtitles (and which one)? Also does anyone now exactly what are the differences made in the 117min "new cut" Vs. the 140min original cut?

Saw this at a fest a couple of years ago, and loved it. I would love to score a copy of the original version, but dang, if it has no subtitles, that blows.

Most overrated film ever made- The Dark Knight.
