Begging to be a Graphic Novel?

It just seems that with the heady confilcts between the good guys, tension from all sides, and an extensive rouges' gallery, this would make a rather involved comic. Particularly considering the comic art look of the later episodes...

For a while now I've seriously been considering working up a short pitch along those lines, as a means to get Time Warner to pick the franchise up again. I'd go so far as to write up a short sequence and illustrate it in full color. If they don't budge, I'd even try getting in touch with the Tremblays to see if they'd approve and be able to pull any strings.

I want more Swat Kats. If Time Warner isn't willing to invest in animation production, maybe they'd be a little more gracious for a comic book that can be produced by one to four people...

As a fan I'd hope so but I remember an interview from the creator that he inquired the powers that be about reviving it in comic form ala the Boom studios Disney properties. He said even in comics, they weren't interested.

I would kill for SWAT Kats to be revived as a comic through DC Comics.

Indeed. I wish the execs at Time Warner would revive the franchise in some way or another.
