i didnt like the episodes where She-ra ended up saving Hordak instead of getting rid of him or him being punished somehow, i get what message they were trying to send out but i dont see how saving someone who continually is trying to destory you and your friends is a positive message
shareI think maybe she couldn't bring herself to let him die because he had raised her from a baby. Even though she knows he's evil, she can't entirely give up on him because he was a father figure to her.

While I used to consider the same idea as you at one point, I soon realized it's not that plausible after all because if anything, Adora would DESPISE Hordak more than anyone else for KIDNAPPING her from her real parents, and ROBBING her of a real childhood/upbringing with her own family.
I think it was simply a case of Adora/She-Ra not wanting to be the same as the Horde (i.e: not be destructive towards life).

The same reason He-Man saved Skeletor and Merman when he did.Him and She-Ra had good hearts and could'nt bring themselves let any living thing die,even the bad guys!That's one of the things I loved about both of them!
