Will never have proper HD he-man blu-rays :(

Hey guys not sure if this has been posted before but as a fan of both he-man and she-ra we will never be able to have He-man in proper clean HD Blu-ray

hallmark destroyed the HD masters after transferring the series to SD digital for the dvds :(

which means its impossible to have a proper Blu-ray release

The release on Blu-ray in Germany look exactly like our dvds because all they could do was put the SD ep onto Blu-ray

damn hallmark, im not sure if they got rid of the she-ra HD masters or not

Wow, why would they do something dumb like that? Personally I haven't been won over to HD. To me it looks too clean in some cases. In others, too cheap and video-like. And I'm not sure older animated series like MOTU would necessarily benefit from HD. It'd be a bit like those moments where you see your self in those bathroom mirrors at Target or Wal-Mart, with all of that harsh florescent light and you're like "Ahhhh!" . But to destroy the HD masters... sounds like a terrible move.

You're just better off with just the DVD sets of HMATMOTU series.

Actually these old cartoons look really good in HD, it just cleans them up more than dvd can

just a shame people and fans who want blu-rays wont ever get them

unless they want something like the german blu-rays which is literally the dvds just on Blu-ray discs

so their is no point as my ps3 and Blu-ray player upscales dvds anyway
