How daft is Teela? Its not like He-Man(Prince Adam )is wearing a major disguise or face mask that obstructs his face. How come she never notices he is the same person?

i use to always wonder that. Adam is never around when He-man shows up, and she should have known something

It seems like Teela really despises Adam for being a big wuss. I just watched Things That Go Bump in the Night and she takes at least 3 good shots at him. Maybe she can't even stand to look at him long enough to see that he looks like He-Man.

The mother knows, a mother knows her son, I'm surprised Teela couldn't figure it out, they should have let her in on the secret, her and poor Beau on She-ra needed to be let out of their misery.

and if Teela didn't notice that He-man and Adam look the same. She should have at least noticed that battlecat and cringer look nearly identical. Plus hes a giant cat that can talk... how many of those are around?

The Teela from the 2002 show wasn't as dense and eventually would have figured it out, they hinted that she was kinda wondering why they were never in the same place as each other. But its too bad the show only lasted 2 seasons because it was very good.

It very difficult to notice someone if they speak in a deeper voice. Prince Adam's voice was very soft and He-Man's was deeper and reverberated. I hope this helps...

Heard of stupid blondes, but redheads! Given the amount of time she spends with both Adam and He-Man, how can she not at least suspect (which she doesn't from most of her stupid dialogues). How she became the captain of the guards we will never know. Teela is definitely the underdog of most of the superheroines when it comes to powers and intelligence.

He-Man had a slightly more tanned skin tone than Adam. Might've helped.

Prince Adam looks and sounds exactly the same

No he doesn't. He-Man's voice is much deeper and more manly. Adam's voice is effeminate. And Adam is pale white whereas He-Man is brownish.

Clark Kent's glasses disguise is far less believable than is He-Man's voice-changing & skin-changing disguise.

to be fair the resemblance is mostly due to the recycled character model, and Filmation being cheap... Plan A was that they looked slightly more distinct... a concept the 2002 series did embrace
