Poetry exchanged within 'Some Girl'

Hello everybody, I'd like to learn about the author's name of the poem(s?) that appeared within one scene of "Some Girl", which I unfortunately only saw once and not since then.
It was that one of the "girls" got a poetry line from one of the "boys" at a date, and knew, to his slight embarassement, immediately that it was derived from a lovely poem by - that is the name I look for -, and she concluded the whole verse or poem in response, by heart.
(If I remember right, the name of the poetrist was mentioned again few minutes later, again within this couple, but without further poetry told).
Please forgive my poor English, I'm from Germany.
