Something I felt was missing from the ending.

CESAR should've also "asked" for NURIA to be at the rooftop, and then apologize to everyone. She wasn't innocent, but neither was he. He was clearly the kind of guy who's rude to one-night stands who "don't get the rules". And he did a bunch of other less serious but still wrong things to the other three.

This wouldn't have made everything O.K. but we the audience were already asked to feel sympathetic towards him from the beginning. So why not give him at least a chance at redemption?

I'm not sure he was at a point where he could already forgive Nuria and could also ask for her forgiveness. She WAS the reason of this whole nightmare in the first place. The most important thing he realised was that reality is better than fantasy. Sofia and Pelayo were people he really cared about and the reason he wanted to see them one last time was because he knew that once he woke up he would never see them again. But they weren't real, so apologising would be useless.

I think you're right.

I found Cesar to be unsympathetic. Mostly that he goes after Sofia at his best friends expense. Not cool. That being said I find it insane that he'd owe nuria an apology. She knew his reputation when she slept with him. Then she crashes his party, sneaks into his room, follows him in a car waits overnight and then tries to kill him. She was a lunatic stalker

reply

She might have had a point though. Cesar was a player.
