Why no DVD releases?

Why is crap like Jersey Shore given DVD releases but not good shows like this? I know the movie trilogy was released but why not the TV series? Hell, it was better than the two sequels. I loved the episode where Wayne cloned himself, it reminded me of Multiplicity, or the one where the family travels back to 1963, it was a really good homage to The Beatles and Austin Powers. Hell I loved the one that spoofed A Nightmare on Elm Street.

This show was full of so many good episodes. It had better satire than SNL, Family Guy, and Robot Chicken. I know this show only lasted from 1997 to 2000, but that was a pretty good run compared to most series based off TV shows. The actors played the characters better than their counterparts from the film trilogy, even the actor who played Wayne was even better than Rick Moranis. A reboot done either as a CGI animated film or TV series would be a bad idea and besides, we have WAY too many CGI films and reboots nowadays!

It took The Wonder Years about 26-27 years to get DVD releases so maybe HISTK: The Series will someday be released on DVD/Blu-ray, as well! Either that or Discovery Family needs to air the series again.

Because Disney owns the rights and they suck at releasing television shows.
