Still good

I remember seeing this one on TV when I was a kid and the computer's chat with Dumotte stuck in my head so that I was able to find the right movie after more than 30 years. I would have been around 10.5 or 11 yrs old when it came out (depending on if it was in the summer or winter). Odd how little fragments of info. can linger in the mind. They have it up over at youtube. I wonder if perhaps they didn't get some of their props from the same prop makers as the people who made The Starlost. Some of the designs for wall panels and such look so much like what I remember from that series as well. The ship design looks something like the shape of some vacuum cleaners from the late 70's or early 80's but I think it's good entertainment for when you aren't looking for a serious movie anyway.
