Has this been released for any home format?

Amazon Germany (www.amazon.de) is selling it on VHS for €5.99 .
Mind you though, it's VHS PAL (not NTSC).

On Ebay. But don't mess around with those DVD-R's. I got burned by one. The quality was horrible. The VHS one was much better, worked in my VCR, but the intro was in German.

Just found an official NTSC DVD copy on Amazon Japan... You will need a region 2 player, but other than that it's fine.

I just watched a DVD-R of this movie. It too had German text and subtitles...

is there a version with English narration and text or subtitles in English?

I just recently located this movie on DVD in something other then region 2. it is available from "cinefear.com" for $20.

I just got a copy of this, but its the workprint of it so there's a timer on the screen and the color is kind of washed out. Oh well, didn't pay too much for it I guess. Just adds to the Ed Wood feel. I couldn't tell if the scenes where they show the script directions on screen were suppose to be part of the movie or not until I looked it up.
