I got annoyed watching this, as Hewitt's character was such a total and complete b!tch. It stretched the credibility of the film to the absolute breaking point.

Yeah, her attitude towards Jack (right from the start) didn't make sense given what she was trying to accomplish. Very unnecessary and annoying.
