Dennis Farina "Who is this?"
Gene Hackman "This is the guy telling you the way it is"

My fav funny bits have been said.

1- The fish part "Look at all the fish!"

2- The USSR part.

Both were just so unexpected and made me laugh so much

oh the whole movie was hilarious but i agree with scottishchik those are the best parts, and the karobuska song she was supposed to sing, was soooooooo off from what she was singing , so it made it even funnier but when the waiter says about ticking her in the kitchen that wasnt the right translation for itbut it was the same idea...

reply

HAHA yeah that was funny.

reply

haha I agree I was rofl.

I actually have 2 favorite scenes, but they're more like quotes.

#1: When Gene Hackman has the maid arrested. He gives the cop some cash & says, "If it's at all possible. Could you slap her around a little bit?"

#2: When Jason Lee's mother asks Ray Liotta at the wedding what he does. He tells her he's a college professor. She then asks what he teaches. He says,
"College Stuff. What are you a F-ing cop?" Classic line.

Hey, you stole my message (he he)!

I was going to say that!

Here is the dialogue to it:

Jack's Mother: Uh, what it is you do, Mr. Staggliano?
Vinny Staggliano: College professor.
Jack's Mother: Oh! Uh, what do you teach?
Vinny Staggliano: College stuff. What are you, a *beep* cop?

Ray Liotta was excellent in this film!

"You're like a Chatty Cathy doll except I'm not pulling the string, you are. Blah! Blah! Blah!"

reply

The fish shooting scene was classic

reply

Your #1 is the classic for me, the whole scene!

The funniest part, in my opinion, is when Gene Hackman founds all his valuables have been stolen, and doesn't seem too bothered, it's when he finds she's stolen his precious cigarettes that he goes mad! "My cigarettes, i feel sick!" or something like that!

Tuco: I like big fat men like you. When they fall they make more noise.

I think the funniest scene to me was after she pushed him down the hill and was telling him her ankle was hurt. He says yeah right nothing can hurt you and she replys Are you calling me a liar. I was quite amused by that line. Also later on after she starts kissing him and he asks her if she is mixing medications and she says you are ruining the magic idiot...gotta love it

reply

I think it was when the statue's penis falls of and Weaver sais with Russian accent "Oh noo, my beautyful man, what use is he to me now, he has no.... PIPISHKA!"

Haha, hillarious word.. =D

reply

i think its really funny when paige kicks the door down, its something like this, i cant remember it very well:

paige- 'i want my purse jerk-off'
jack- 'hey why dont we try that again, and this time when you kick the door open, try to say something nice'
paige- 'you stole my purse dipsh*t, and you stole it so id have to see your ugly ass face again'

its so funny!

reply

There is more to that scene

Jack: No you forgot your purse for the second time because, you were in such a hurry to strand me in the middle of nowhere.

Paige: Just give it to me, or would you rather have my heel up your ass?

Jack: Who told you I was into that.

I love Max's facial expression when she tried to chew down that piece of RAW meat. :)
and of course, the USSR song! :) Sigourney is awesome in the film.

I think what was the funniest is when "wendy" gets her hair stuck in his zipper.

This isn't what I call the funniest scene, but it hasn't been mentioned and I thought it was funny.

When Jack comes over to Paige when she's at the bar meeting the "momma's boy" and askes her what he can get her from the bar. She goes off on him thinking he is hitting on her, and when she asks "Why did you come all the way over to here to buy me a drink?" (or something to that effect) Jack says, "I'm the bartender."

I am thinking the bar scene with JLH & Jason Lee, when he comes over to take her drink order & she's like "Oh, you're so pathetic, trying your 'can I buy you a drink line' but it's lame & old so get over it" and then he reveals that he actually is the bartender coming over to take her order...

Sorry I can't remember the lines verbatim, I saw this way back when it first came out... if anyone can remember, please post! =)

Hi this is the diologue for the bar scene when jason lee goes over to JLH.

JACK: Hi, can i get you a drink?
PAIGE: Wow! ive never that one before, are you gonna blow me away with your creativity?
JACK: Well i ahh...
PAIGE:(sarcastically)Well i ahh...
PAIGE: Your recovery is even better. Do you even care at all who i am? i mean i could be the anti-christ, or have the intelligents of a thermost, but unfortunately, those are not the matters of the male penis ponders.
PAIGE: So please tell why did you walk all the over here to ask to get me a drink?
JACK: WEll because im the bartender.
PAIGE: oh....Martinee, very dry
JACK:(giggles)Sure.
