Do you think Skip Woods got lucky with this movie??

I sure think so. Just like that Troy Duffy character got lucky with The Boondock Saints (If anyone has seen part-II, you know what i am talking about). Everything Skip had written since then has turned out to be on the bad side - Hitman, Wolverine, A-Team (some might include Swordfish, but i kinda liked it). They might be commercial successes but they are nowhere close to the Tarantino-esque experience that Thursday provides.

And now he is writing the screenplay for Die Hard-5. I don't like it one bit!

----I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.

I don't think it is luck at all. He only did revisions on Wolverine so you can't blame him for that bomb and Swordfish is a great movie no matter who you are. I would argue that Hitman is a good movie but I understand why others don't like it.

And Troy Duffy's mistake is he tried to make it too much like the first one, the brothers still acted inexperienced even though they had been killing people for a long time and they tried to replace both Rocco and Paul Smecker with worse actors who had the same personality

Yep, I agree! Thursday is really a powerful piece of work. But the rest... Meuh... And really? There will be another Die Hard movie? Jesus, Bruce, didn't you milk this cow enough already?!
