Rape, by its very definition, is something that you cannot want. If you want it, it's not rape.

Merriam-Webster:

unlawful sexual activity and usually sexual intercourse carried out forcibly or under threat of injury against the will usually of a female or with a person who is beneath a certain age or incapable of valid consent.

Idiot.

thats kinda funny, considering i was thinking the complete opposite. that women was a mess. quite grotestque if you ask me.

I'd definitely would not wanna have an ecounter like that with her. Not saying she's unattractive, but her whole mannerisms, way of talking and dressing in this movie are a total turn off for me, so I can actually really relate to the disgust that Casey is displaying there.

reply

Is this the movie where the chick ties the guy to a chair and then straddles him and humps away against his will and mentions something to the effect that she's not finished yet cuz she's multi-orgasmic or something, so she keeps on going till some other guy walks in and blows her head off in the middle of one of her big O's.?

This was a rubbish movies and that women was disgusting. Kind of like a prey-mantis b-itch.

It was only one movie, how can it be a "rubbish movies"?

I think she was a great character, and she made the movie memorable for me. She makes Catherine Tramell in Basic Instinct seem like a soccer mom. That's what's great about Dallas. She's a cold-blooded, bad-ass, ruthless, psychotic C U N T. Like Famke Janssen in GoldenEye. Another great bad girl.

reply

I agree. Thomas Jane put in a great performance and actually made me believe he was disgusted by her. She was coarse and vulgar, but still my favorite character in the movie. I love characters like Catherine Tramell in Basic Instinct, Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye, and Dallas in Thursday. They're totally ruthless, vicious, psychotic, manipulative, and bad-assed "See You Next Thursdays."

I wasn't turned off by her at all. In fact, think Skip Woods should have made a prequel that was just about her character's criminal background.

if you would like to have it happen it wouldn't be rape

reply

I heard that even if a woman did it to a man, it would STILL be physically and emotionally painful.

Have it consensually. Dude.

reply

If she did it to you, would you forgive her or kill her?

reply

This is the sort of thing I rather fear could happen if the world ended and all there was left is a man and a woman scenario, with me being the only man that is alive and someone like Dallas possibly the only woman.

And judging by your picture in the profile, have you finally matured or do you still carry that wish around?

Also maturity - why did you only give this movie 3 out of 10??

By the way, it took me an extremely long time to realize that the emotionally distraught and undeniably sympathetic woman in The Cars' video for their popular 1984 song "Drive" is in fact Paulina Porizkova. For those of you who need a reminder, have a look here -

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuZA6qiJVfU

Ever since I saw the video, regardless of her issue in it, I felt INCREDIBLY touched and SYMPATHETIC with her sadness and emotions. You feel literally nothing but sympathy and compassion with her, and she seems so innocent and lovely as well.

And to think that she went from portraying such a sympathetic character from the music video to a villain role in THIS film kinda boggles the mind. Until I found that out, I had even NO IDEA that both characters were played by the SAME actress,

Because in this film, given her criminal activities, and YES I include her raping Casey here, you cannot feel sorry for her in the same way you could in the "Drive" video, and I bet no one, much like Casey himself, felt heartbroken when she got shot and killed at the end either. (And yet in the video, you felt sympathy for her even when she was alive throughout.)

In fact, during the rape scene, you could very well say that in many respects, Thomas Jane's character has been put into practically the same position as her character was in "Drive", sort of a role swapping scenario. Maybe if this movie has been more serious we would have even seen him crying like that and going - "no please no" and being all emotional and tearful as well, just like she was in the music video.

Seriously folks, watch the music video and compare and contrast her role with that in here. You'll be amazed.

And I bet after doing so, besides a lot of other obvious reasons, you will NOT be saying how "You'll "want" to be raped even by a woman like that".
