IT'S A HORSE!!!

how many of you laughed their guts out when they heard it the first time?
when Simon and Joe are sneakin' in the hallway and this big dog comes up...

"Simon? what's there?"
Simon looks and says:
"IT'S A HORSE!"

We watched this movie for our Christian class, and our teacher thought we would be all in tears of sadness, but we had tears of joy instead.I mean our fav parts were:

-When Simon and Joe give a man the dirty finger
-When Simon touches the boobs of a girl

The horse scene always cracks me up, but I think it's because to me Simon reminds me so much of Estelle Gedde in Golden Girls.

How about when Joe's mom wants a hug from the boys and Simon is all over that!

reply

Simon Birch was probably the best movie I've ever seen in a class, just because of those hilarious scenes. Our whole class broke out in laughter during that one, and many others.

reply

O gosh yes, that was hilarious! That dog WAS big though.
I knew a guy who had a great dane and he named it Horse.

I laughed at that....It was funny....This movie was too cute with the stuff like that in the movie but at the same time it was also sad....I thought it was cute when Joe and Simon jumped up to touch the wooden board and said "One year good luck" and Simon couldn't reach it but he still said it....I thought that part was cute....This movie was very good!

reply

That was a great part. I think Joe jumps up deliberate to show off at Simon.

as someone who was on the set, i can assure you he was not just jumping up to show off. Joe Wentworth Loved Simon like a brother and was part of the only family Simon ever had. He always stood up for simon not only to hecklers, but even to simons father i quote,
"simon's not a skrew up! he's a hero!"
"What?"
"I said he's a hero and you don't deserve him. i just want you to know that"

reply

Well, I don't quite believe you about being on the set.
