More Goofs?

1) At Max's house, the missionaries ID themselves using their first & last names. Shouldn't they ID themselves as, "Elder <Surname>?" Also, Joe's missionary partner bails at the fight scene.

2) After Joe rings his girl, the scene cuts to her phone ringing in Utah. But when we cut to the close-up on their photo, one can see part of the empty base of her Trimline phone (suggesting that it's off-hook). We then cut back to the main shot, showing the phone, on-hook & still ringing (just before she answers it).

This movie is a series of continuous goofs. Hardly a minute goes by without some kind of error in continuity or with some prop.

Then again, people reported actual jokes as goofs, like when Joe kicks in Clark's face or when "G" is thrown against a wall, and the camera lingers on the dummy they actually threw.

It is clearly a terrible, terrible movie. Also funny enough that I kept watching to the end.
I can not imagine how they got all the way through it without saying one thing disparaging to Mormons at all. As irreverent as these guys are, they teated the religion with complete respect. Weird.
