Jesus' aunt was the ONLY person with his true interests at heart...

Remember how when he's with his uncle, how he's DEMANDING to be kep on the loop, especially regarding offers for himself and the family, which Jesus says nobody is actually offering.

And how his uncle keeps nagging him to pay them back for raising him and his sister when he hits paydirt when drafterd. Then the aunt cuts in "Stop nagging him. Jesus, you do what YOU think is right", to which Jesus heartly says "Thank you aunt!".
