Anyone have the PAL vhs with better color?

If I could play PAL tapes I'd buy one off Amazon. I've been dying to see it. The DVD has a washed out muted color. I'd love to see this get the Criterion treatment. If anyone has that tape and can convert it to a file or DVD please let me know. I'd really love to obtain a copy.

I found a copy of the Italian VHS. The difference in color is like night and day. Beautiful vibrant colors and flesh tones. It's a shame this film hasn't been treated better.

you probably know by now...but its out on dvd...it was released by Shameless Screen Entertainment
