what a very fine specimen

... of a movie!
great. the characters, and the plot - wow. it does everythign right, like it's taken out of the handbook. the story is beautifully crafted...
it even inspired me to write a story.
I never heard of this movie, I'm zapping absentmindedly thru the huuuge bore of many diverse channels, from the youngest to the oldest crap in the TV landscape one evening, and then I stumble over this extremely suspenseful movie. it was so suspenseful it hurt, I thought I couldn't bear watching the story unfolding any longer because I was so much involved. You could understand every character. They were all so real, jumping out of the TV screen.
It surprised me as I quit everything else I was doing - which is like, sadly, very seldomly the case, I can't watch a movie without doing something else or more things at the same time.
But this movie focused my whole being. I've never seen two hours fly away so fast, and when it was over it was like falling out of a magical realm made of everything that is life at its most intense stage, falling into chaos...
