509 BC // ROME BECOMES A REPUBLIC

This is set in 509 bc when rome finally becomes a republic thus ending a 240 years of kingship from 753 to 509 BC
This is the end of the first era of rome's history and the beginning of it's glorius second era at the end of which rome would become the eternal empire lasting for 2 millenniums (including the holy roman empire and the eastern "byzantine" empire).
There are not many movies covering rome's early years but this is the third notable worth seeing movie about rome's early years.
