David Foley

David Foley was great as Troy. I was first exposed to Foley with Kids in the Hall back in the day and then happy to see him in Newsradio. Anyway, I was so glad he was casted in Blast from the Past as Troy instead of Pee Wee Herman.

He was excellent in this I agree, but when is the guy not he's a great comedian with a lot of range. Amazing that he didn't land more roles in movies.

Have you seen his stand-up act called Dave Foley: Relatively Well? I just saw it a week ago and had some great laughs from it, it's a little on the hard-core side of comedy but if you're not prudish you'll probably love it.

Yeah, Dave surprised me with what was a large amount of raunchiness. Didn't expect it from him.

For a number of years, he looked very much like Isabella Rossellini (or vice versa).

Yeah he was FANTASTIC in this movie.

I did find it funny that playing a gay character came so naturally to him because people have always thought he was gay in real life. I'll admit that I did as well until I found out he was actually straight. There's an article that talks about how Foley says people consider it homophobic if he stresses he's not gay..LOL I guess it could come off as protesting too much. But either way, he's a cool guy and a good actor. I used to love him on News Radio.
