Born post 1980s who loves 1960s culture? I was born in '92 and my bedroom is decorated with 50s/60s in mind. When my boyfriend and I get our own house, he's letting me decorate the house the way I'd like and I already have it planned out to be retro 50s/60s. Am I the only one who's only 21 and loves that style of decor and style? I am gay, so that might have something to do with it. I don't know any other straight guys my age who like 50s and 60s stuff haha.
shareThere are lots of stuff from the fifties and sixties that are pretty cool. I can't do my flat like that though, I have to many electronic gadgets that screws with the illusion.
shareNah you're not the only one dude. I love the roaring 20s to warring 40s and fabulous 50s even the swinging 60s Wish I'd have been born back then and lived during those exciting times in America. I love movies set in that era as well. I don't know why, but I love history so maybe that is one reason in my case or it could be the feeling of predictability in knowing the past whereas the future seems so uncertain, especially nowadays...
