I could honestly say that maybe another actress would've served the movie better. I know people have said they like AS, but halfway through the movie she becomes unbearable. She is just not right for the parts of the movie that require her to be emotionally torn between helping him and falling for him. IDK just my thoughts.
shareHer character was a weak link in the movie. Do you think it was her acting, or do you think it was the way her character was written? She seemed a bit too whiny, especially in the 2nd half of the movie. But that could be just how it was written in the script.

Short Cut, Draw Blood
The writing didn't really make her into a three dimensional character and the Silvertone didn't do much to improve the limited situation she was in. In fact she's not even particularly smart or admirable.
shareI do agree Alicia and Brendan didn't have any chemistry it was more like they were brother and sister.
