Leave My Elevator Alone!

That whole Elevator "Cult" thing just cracks me up...

How could anyone think that some guy ascending through the floor on a elevator, while wearing a hazmat suit shouting: "Leave My Elevator Alone!" Would be some sign of "God", or perhaps the "Devil"? And how could he get others to join his "Flock"?

Sadly some people believe in crazy things like this today...

"It's The Mother!" LOL! Mrs. Webber's reaction to the cult was priceless...

Was that guy wiser than everyone else in the world? Maybe we should worship elevators as the best mode of transportation... (KIDDING!)

I wonder if any fans of this movie, who has ever ridden in elevators, ever dared to try this, or a part of it...

1.) When the doors open at a random floor, to let someone on... Say to them: "I Come In Peace."

2.) Just before they push a button for their floor... Gently "command" them to: "Leave My Elevator Alone!"

3.) When they turn to look at you strangely, and question you as to why... Say In A Ritual Tone: "Aye Yaye Yaye!". (If you have a tambourine with you, bang and rattle that at the same time!)

If that has been tried, I wonder what happened next...

LOL!

Great Movie. Lots of laughs!

It is one of my favorite parts of the movie. I love all the cult scenes. And I will often intone, "Leave my elevator alone!" to my husband as a joke. Never tried it actually on an elevator though--that would be a riot to try. 😀

A good man is like a good cup of coffee--hot, strong, and sweet.

I've always thought it was kind of a reference to Back to the Future...I'm Darth Vader from the planet Vulcan.
