Is this guy a sociopath or what?

I think that might be a little strong of a description. I don't think he's a good person but he has a point. There's lots of jobs that Americans are unwilling to do and that's why you see immigrants, who are just happy to have a job, doing them. Maher talks about that a lot.

If you gave a 12 year old (14 legally to work) a billion dollars to make shoes for his favourite sports, you'd have Phil.

But I appreciate him being cooperative with Moore and giving him ample time v/s the other higher ups who either called security or just fled.

Yeah, I guess you can credit Knight for talking with Moore and even better were some of the ridiculous statements he made during the interview.

One of the sadder things with the possible Nike factory in Flint was the guy showing his toddler wearing Air Jordans when he's needing a job. Do toddlers really need expensive athletic shoes?

I was thinking something similar... "you know those Air Jordans are worth about a weeks worth of gas (or in 97 two weeks), why don't you fill up your tank and go find a job?

You can't give Knight credit for meeting with Moore. It's obvious that the guy is so arrogant and so narcissistic that he thought he would be able to smooth-talk Michael Moore and charm his way through the interview. He forgot that he wasn't talking to one of his kiss-ass executives. Moore asks the tough questions and doesn't let people off the hook. (Apparently Knight didn't do his homework on Moore before inviting him up to his office, as is evidenced by the omnipresent twisted look of horror and surprise on Knight's face after every question.) If Knight knew how Moore operates, he never would have invited him up. Moore totally owned him.
