Fantastic

I managed to miss this series when it was broadcast in 1997, and got annoyed with so many people at the time telling how good it was.
Finally after 8 years the BBC decided to release it on DVD & I have just finished watching it - all I can say is that it's one of the best tv dramas I've seen, am so glad I got to finally see it
Would really recommend it, especially as there has been a a lack of quality british dramas on uk telly in recent years - all itv seem to want to concerntrate on is one off dramas that have to include a grisly murder, and I can't think of any drama of quality that the BBC has produced recently.
Hopefully Tony Marchant will be commissioned to write another drama serie soon
