One Of The Best Movies I've Ever Seen

I just happened to be flipping through the channels a couple nights ago and came across this movie. This was one the best movies I've ever seen in my life! I really thought all of the actors in this movie did a wonderful job. I was very impressed with the actor who played the little boy Sanja. For someone so young he was able to make his performance seem so natural, like he wasn't acting at all!

Vladimir Mashkov was perfect as the very handsome thief Tolyan! I can easily see why the mother fell for him! His character was very smooth, charming, a good liar and good at reading people! I liked watching the interaction between him and Sanja. If he wasn't so shady I think he could've made a good father for the boy.

The woman who played the mother was wonderful too! She and Vladimir Mashkov had great chemistry! I thought the movie was very entertaining from beginning to end. I would recommend this movie to anyone out there who likes 'real' movies. Real meaning movies that rely on interesting characters, storylines and plots and great acting to entertain instead of special effects and other Hollywood nonsense.
