sound editor

I love enerything about this movie except whoever edited the sound. There are so many mistakes, I cringe everytime i watch it. There are times when the mouth doesn't match the voice, or doesn't sound like it's coming from the right place. I could just kill whoever ok'ed the final cut.

I thought the same, especially when Heather and Robert are going up the stairs to his room. It made me embarassed for the sound editors.

It's even worse in the bathroom when she's yelling at him (Natasha?) and it's a close up and it doesn't even match. WTH? Why? Who's to blame?

this is the only movie I ever walked out on, and it was because of the dubbing. It makes the film unwatchable. The characters are pretty repulsive aswell (iirc).

I'm glad it wasn't just me being picky! I suspect that while the apartment looked like a great set, the acoustics were all wrong and they probably had to ADR a lot of the dialogue. Whoever is responsible for the audio/visual synchronisation deserves to be shot, because it definitely was awful, to the point where it was quite off-putting at times.

Of COURSE the cheque is good!

I'm thought it was my television!

Given the context of the film, sound wasn't exactly the most important factor to me. As long as I could hear the dialog itself, it's fine, but I would be lying if I didn't raise a few eyebrows half way through the movie.

There is such bad dubbing right near the beginning when the jerky guy is harassing one of them and his girlfriend shows up. I thought maybe it was a multi country film and the other woman was speaking a different language or something.
