yeh he dident die! I thought the same thing, but a buddy of mine let me borrow his dvd and before watching it i read the insert and the guy that dean pitched the script to said something to this extent "I liked it a lot and i just like how no one died at the end they just suffered" Yes the film ends with him burning in a fire but that can always be diffrent like in the new movie we see him pull him self off the hook and escape. lol what do you guys think

Capt. Howdy. Hot. I don't know about that, but he was a pretty badass villian. If there is a sequel, he would look pretty messed up,(SPOLIER?) all burnt up and a giant hole ripped in his back. But, he always did look messed up, even when he was "cured".

LOL I thought he looked the most messed up when he was cured. I agree about the possibility of another go round with Capt Howdy.
