According to the IMDb, "The Mutilator" was filmed at Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. Has anyone ever been here? If so, where is it in relation to Outer Banks?
Also, does anyone know if the beach house in the movie still exists? I would love to check it out the next time I'm in North Carolina.
"The Mutilator" is a vastly underrated slasher flick! I just love the atmosphere and mood of where it was filmed.
I grew up down there and went to school with Trace Cooper (the kid in this movie). Atlantic Beach is on the southern Outer Banks by Cape Lookout. It is about halfway between Wilmington and Cape Hatteras.
The house was still there last time I went down there. If you find the oceanna resort and fishing pier near the east end of the island, you will see the house there.
yes i have been there and actually went to the premire as connie rodgers date i do belivie the house is still there it is probably 50 miles south of the outer banks

sharenot that i know of i was in the marines at the time and she was a dj at one of the clubs i always attend we had a blast i sure do miss her i dont know whatever happened to her but i would sure like to find out
