How did they manage after they went to Harlem?

How could they get up to New York and get a house, being that they had no money, had to live with an assumed identity, were much too old to get a job, etc? Not criticizing the movie, just trying to start a discussion as to how, or if, they could reasonably pull of Claude's plan.

Wait until they get a load of me.

I just saw the movie and was thinking the same thing. My only idea would be of been selling the time piece. Eddie's character wouldn't have any use with it apart from sentimental value (i.e no children to hand it to) and by the 90's the watch would be close to a 100 years old and is pure silver so would probably be able to get enough to live for a couple of years. Nothing fancy but just living "life" in NY for the remainder of their lives which probably be 5-10 years max.

Even so, would seem to be a bit of a stretch. It is just a movie though.

How did they even escape to begin with??? Hiding in fire trucks?? What the hell?? They shouldve just rewritten the script to have them officially released from prison.

.......How much do you think silver is worth exactly? $50,000 an ounce?

I was wondering that myself.

Not to mention that they'd have a hard time getting off the fire trucks unnoticed. Plus, how would they even be able to get back to New York City at their age, without any money, transportation or even clothing?
