The network premire of The Eagles Farewell I Concert will be on Wednesday June 1st, 2005. It starts at 8 and is on NBC.
It was filmed in Australia and will have two new songs: "One Day At A Time" and "No More Cloudy Days".
Almost a decade later, they're still touring, but they've dropped that phony "farewell."
shareNow that Glenn Frey died. Well they still replace him with another Eagles ex member. ( You never know with this band since they broke up the first time... they became very business conscious... Henley has 200 million Frey ended up dying with 90 million everyone else I'm sure has less I think this has always bothered Frey since Hotel California the endless amount of stress and jealously made him sick )
shareOf course, it remains to be seen whether the Eagles will continue in any form. It's hard for me to imagine them going forward, but I suspect Don Henley largely calls the shots here.
I was very sorry to hear of Glenn's passing, but I have to say I haven't seen the Eagles as anything more than an "oldies" act for decades now. I have their recent albums, but they just didn't do it for me. But in their prime they were unstoppable.
