Good idea ruined by horrible acting.

I think it was a great idea for a film, But the acting in it is some of the worst acting I have ever see in a film, everybody was ethier monotone and emotionless or overacting and showing too much emotion.

Well, I have seen worse acting in several other movies; this was not the worst but it was bad enough to qualify! I think the actor who played Quentin was the worst. In most scenes, the only expression he gave out was making his eyes as large as saucers. People found Holloway quite bad too, but I think it was the character rather than the actor that was more contemptible.

In my opinion, Holloway is the most congruent character in the movie. Besides, it feels like just trolling around when people state "this has the worst acting ever".

Holloway is congruent all right...her performance in this film is quite congruent as one of the very worst acting performances of all-time!

Your defense of one the worst acting performances of all-time (Holloway in his film) sounds more like trolling around than does the accurate thread title or other posts which corroborate that thread title.

Amen to that! I've been wanting to watch this movie for some time since it always appears on /x/'s "99 *beep* list, but the acting by both the cop and illogical, completely right-brained "doctor" almost became more astonishing than the premise of the movie itself. The math student was pretty bad at the beginning too.

I agree. I really liked the idea but the over-acting made it feel so cheap.

Horrible acting and pretty atrocious dialogue conspired to make it less satisfying that it initially promised, but the mystery of the premise and the inherent suspense of their plight just about kept it afloat. I enjoyed it. Would have made a solid Twilight Zone episode.

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.
At times the acting was so over the top, it took my attention way from the actual story.
Quentin & Holloway were the worst offenders. Delivery and facial expressions were overboard.

I absolutely agree with you
