I don't see it. Sure, it has some similar elements, but no movie is 100% original. There are always elements of other films - to say ask if it was copied to is to be answered "no."

I don't see it. se7en was religious, no traps involved and no one had a choice to live or die. mayyyybe the twist ending is similar, still a reach though.

Not the first Saw particularly, but Saw II definitely felt heavily inspired by Cube.

Agreed! Cube2 is on, and I literally just had the same thought. I was wondering if the makers of Saw were inspired by the Cube movies. Haha! I definitely see the similarities.
