The sound triggered room

Did anyone else find that scene so damn intense??? My heart was racing the whole time. I rarely get that with movies.

And a side note. If Quentin had just calmed down, 5 of the characters would have lived.

Yeah, it was tense as hell.

There are two kinds of people in the world, those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

reply

Agreed. I wasn't sold on the movie until that point, but I actually think it was easily among the top tensest movie moments - ever!

A really fabulous scene... With all the deaths so far, I had absolutely no idea how it'd play out.

reply

Very much so. I got so nervous watching it.

reply

Yeah, now you mention it.

Really great scene.

I forgot about this and it's sequel.

2 of the greatest horror movies ever.

reply

I guess, but the fact that opening the door (which was pretty damn loud) didn't trigger the trap made it unbelievable for me.

reply

Apparently the trap is rigged to ignore the door opening sounds, no matter the volume. This is why the spikes move out only after the mentally handicapped guy makes a noise. An awesome scene through and through.
