Yanks stealing another film to remake their own
they just can't leave good foreign movies alone without turning it into inevitably a trash remake version

shareYou're an embarrassment to Canada.
shareI am not sure I understand the point you are trying to make here. Is it that Cube is such a remake? Or are you complaining about a different remake of Cube?
It is being remade by Americans.
shareIn that case, experience suggests your frustration is grounded.

Another insecure foreigner bashing America. This is so common I'm numb to it by now.
shareSo exactly how does a remake diminish your enjoyment of the original film? If a film is remade, regardless who does it, does that mean you are no longer allowed to view the original film? Are all copies of the film rounded up and summarily destroyed to prevent viewing of the original film?
That being said, I am generally opposed to remakes, but if someone is going to spend the time and money to do it it's no skin off my nose.
A remake of what?
shareYeah, if it's any consolation, we ruin all our own movies with remakes too. I'm not sure why people keep paying to see them but as long as they do, Hollywood will keep making them. Vote with your wallets, people.
shareThey make 90% of the good movies so leave them alone you jealous canuck.
The originality they show makes up for the unorginal things 100 fold.
And Saw is so different from this.
Their population is only 10 times bigger than yours yet they contribute over 100x as much to the world.
