This film

Can't decide whether it's a bad documentary, a softcore teaser, or just a plain old mess. It reminded me of Ed Wood's "Glen or Glenda", in that not only are production values cheap (be prepared for lots of stock footage of crowds in NYC), but it's almost all narration. FWIW, I found myself laughing enough to keep watching. Try playing the "guess the real lesbian" game while you watch. It's often obvious who's really into kissing another girl and who's just wrestling around pretending they're not grossed out.
