Odd, boring and imcomprehensible

The late great Roger Ebert gave this four stars, but for once I disagree with him. The score was jarring and the film kept stopping. The story was hard to follow and the Jewish doctor talking to himself was just stupid. Yes I know some will say this is part of what made it great, but to me it just made it irritating. It seemed to me like the director was trying to be Felini and failing at it.

I did like the cinematography though. He definite had an eye for composing great shots.
