What was that weird tune playing at the nightclub?
Just saw the film on TCM. Wow, that was something! Reminded me a bit of Fellini, with its surreal quality and episodic structure and themed music in the background.
That nightclub scene in particular had a hauntingly effective soundtrack, repetitive in an irregular way, rising and falling against the babble of the crowd. I suppose the bit of music doesn't have the same impact on its own, but I was wondering what it was.
