Plants using us

Am I understanding this bit right?(that was sort of talked about by Mr. Attenborogh): - That plants, that have evolved to produced fruit, vegetables, nuts, leaves or other articles that it turns out now that we humans love to consume, have by chance hit the evolutionary jackpot (as we are the dominant species) to ensure that they are replanted and replanted again and again and so ensure total survival (in mass numbers) of their species, which is the plantsĀ“ goal anyway?
So they could be seen as using us, instead of we using them?

Oh, Mr. Bennet, nothing you say shall ever vex me again.

After working in my garden all day I would agree with you.
