Covid People's Court--Weird

Only the bailiff is in the courtroom. Sitting on the judge's desk is big screen TV with Marilyn Milian. Sitting atop the defendant's and plaintiff's podium are big screen TVs. The beginning of the case is truly weird. After that it is direct images of the participants, like a news show that has out-of-studio guests. Less weird but not the same as live in the courtroom!

I've only watched it a couple of times, with this Covid setup. Didn't like it at all. And, I used to DVR the program every day.

My local city council meetings are no better. They're broadcasting from home, with a lot of different boxes on the TV screen. It looks like Hollywood Squares! 😜

They should make a particular councilman the secret square, just for fun

At first I was put off, but now I love it because I get to see the plaintiffs home and background. Hilarious. It’s a whole new layer to judge! Millan and her husband are funny sometimes. She really is the dominant partner. Good for her.
