Great black comedy

Edgar Wright (Spaced) David Walliams (Little Britain) Simon Pegg (Spaced) Reece Shearsmith (League of Gentlemen) all come together and create a dark and brilliant, and cruelly unknown sitcom.Fans of these great people reply.

I remember watching this when it was on Paramount.

It was fantastic, I had every episode on VHS but I lost it a long time ago :(

I just finised watching the last season of "Spaced" and really need another fix of Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson! I can't believe noone has jumped on their earlier work after the success of Shaun of the Dead.

Anyone know where I can get a bootleg of Asylum?

Logically, all the show was, was a selection of comedians doing a stand up routine, with a wraparound plot of a pizza delivery guy trapped in there.

but damn it was good. I loved it so much that I went out and bought the CD single from the title sequence (david devant & his spirit wife - ginger).

I wish for a replay, maybe paramount (where it was first shown) should show it again.

How can you fail to mention Julian Barratt, co-creator of The Mighty Boosh?

The Mighty Boosh is sharply becoming the greatest comedy of all time. And it's even better live!

Have you seen the Mighty Boosh live at the theatre or on dvd? I've seen it on Dvd but i doubt it'll be as good as seeing it properly at the theatre.

Also I havent seen Asylum but i am a huge fan of Edgar/simon and all the others so do you all strongly reccomend it?

Yeah, I saw it live last April and bought tickets yesterday to go see them again in October. You are right, it's even funnier when you're actually there -- the atmosphere totally adds to it.
