So, The Best Send-Off They Could Come Up With For Andy Rooney

........was to re-run the same exact segment from a few weeks ago that served as his professional farewell ???

No, I didn't expect the producers to devote an entire show to him, though having been a part of it for close to 35 years, that would have been nice. And though the piece was a good one, a LITTLE bit of extra effort would have been GREATLY appreciated.

And yes, I realize he was a VERY 'grumpy' person both on and off camera, which turned a lot of people off, but (for me, anyway) that was always part of his 'charm'. The guy ALWAYS said what was on his mind, and what he had to say was (almost) always interesting.

And now that he's gone, what do we have to show for it ??? Even MORE commercials stuffed into his old slot.
