Everyone except the Vatical Library staff.I think that wearing gloves is a topic of debate among archivists. I remember someone from the Sithsonian being interviewed by CSPAN. His contention was that you have less of a tactile feel for paper which increases the potential of doing damage to the paper.
Everyone should wear gloves. The crap that people carry is amazing and enormously destructive.
