if someone reads this in the distant future, can you enlighten me to that part? i've never understood that. i think it happens around the time moon gets mad about his abandomsome father but i don't quite remember. anyways, he goes through the market banging rocks together and looking around. was he looking for his mom? what was going on??????

Just before he went back to the market with the rocks, there's a shot of him walking right past Fat Chan and his lady. Chan doesn't notice but apparently Autumn does so he takes the closest weapons he can find (rocks) to attack Chan. Since he couldn't find him afterwards, i guess he was banging the rocks to look nonchalant, like he wasn't about to stone someone in the middle of a busy market.
