Isn't it funny?
In every episode but this, when adults speak, they just have that infamous horn sound. But in this episode, you can hear words over the P.A system! How funny would it be to hear horn sounds in a hospital?
shareActually, there are several other episodes where adults have speaking parts. Peppermint Patty's teacher speaks in "She's a Good Skate, Charlie Brown" (odd, I know), the man who owned Snoopy's mom we get to see and hear in "Snoopy's Reunion," and a handful of adults - including the mayor of Charlie Brown's town - speak and appear in "It's the Pied Piper, Charlie Brown."
shareI think the earliest use of an adult voice in the shorts, was the one titled "You're The Greatest, Charlie Brown," where we heard an adult announce the decathalon events.
