What a real bastard Frankie Lymon was!!!

~ All I could say about Frankie Lymon was that he was a wonderful singer & a great dancer. Last but not least a real son of bitch.

reply

I quite agree. He led 3 women on and made fools of them.

reply

~ I know! I'd really hate it guy did that *beep* to me.

Don't hate the player, hate the game

_______

How high can you try?

reply

the game is being single with women, marrage is way to sacred to mess with.

my brother paid $5 to see your underware!

reply

He had that "love them & leave them" reputation.

reply

By far, the worst thing he did was either kill the dog, but that was an accident, so it had to be when he ruined Zola Taylor's house. That house was beautiful.

reply

It's always the cute ones....

reply

He weren't that cute! The actor who played him in the movie was way better looking. When I saw his picture on IMDB, I could not think why all those gorgeous women even looked at him, what with the drug taking, lying, cheating, stealing, etc., etc...

reply

You're right Frankie Lymon was short ugly troll. Gary Coleman looks just like that man. Having LT play FL was so wrong. LT is too good looking, even though he was convincing.

Get confident...STUPID

reply

In all honesty, the women in real life were not all that gorgeous either. LOL
Having women like Halle Berry, Vivica Fox, and Lela Rochon as your wives is truly a fairytale. No one could be that lucky.

"I'm the ultimate badass, you do NOT wanna f-ck wit me!"Hudson,Aliens😬

reply

he killed the puppy :(

reply

Woah so he seriously trashed Zola's house? Eek.. That was horriable! She was so hurt. S.O.B..that made me cry

reply

If he had done that to my dog, he would have gone right out the window with it. She could have easily kicked his ass too. Urkel could have kicked his ass. It's always the singers with the cute looks and great voices that sometimes turn out bad. Look at Sam Cooke.

reply

He should have went out the window!!! He had every intention of killing that dog, I am sorry! He should've brought it back in after getting what he wanted when she was doing what he told her to do. If my memory serves me correctly, he just left it hanging there as she was pleading with him. What does he expect after doing that to that poor dog? He deserve to be bitten!! I would've kick his sorry ass, afterwards!

He was a cold hearted S.O.B!! He was a good singer though!

reply

These 3 women should be held responsible for their lack of knowledge. Lymon only did what his young, over active, testosterone ladened body and mind led him to do. The excuse, "I didn't know" looks very unbecoming in adulthood. These women where older than he was. Personally, I cannot see myself even being attracted to a child which is what he was when he started his career. They were probably more in love with the money than him and no doubt he sniffed that out real fast so he played them and they were stupid enough to be played. All is fair in love and war. They were players too. Just check out the courtroom scenes. Little Richard tried to tell their dumb monkey butts!

Now when it came to that dog, sweetypie224, you said it all. His narrow behind should have been kicked for real. That was wrong. But it was also wrong for Elizabeth to show real care only when her dog's life was at stake. These folk were crazy.

Peace.

that made me cry :-(

reply

Add me to the DOG LOVERS!That stunt with that poor puppy was the ONLY thing I found disturbing in this movie. I was totally disgusted.
As for the women? TOO BAD!

reply

I'M SORRY, BUT IF HE THREW MY PUPPY OR ANY OTHER ANIMAL OUT OF A WINDOW, HE WOULD HAVE WENT OUT OF THE WINDOW NEXT.

How do you know if the kid even realized that he *was* "married" to all three? That's what the women said. All but one of the marriages were "flaky." Like the judge said, "Only the last marriage had the accouterments of a true marriage because the bride was dressed in white and the marriage was performed publically in a church." (Don't let this mislead you as to the judge's final decision.) Zola *said* she got married in Mexico but forgot to turn over the papers to the State of California... Elizabeth and Frankie's so-called marriage began as a "common law" marriage while she was married to someone else, whose merit had to be court-determined, etc., etc.

And remember the young age of the kid. Just look at his photos on the album covers with the Teenagers. A Baby. And the hardships he had undergone. The reason his father left his mother and siblings was because Frankie was now taking care of of them with money that Frankie had earned from his new show biz career...

Frankie, in fact, was a "rescuer"; he tried to help the drunk outside the restaurant, with true compassion on his face; he tried to rescue the woman who he met in the department store when the floor walker caught her stealing (She became his second "wife."); the third wife was a "regular," "non-show business" and loving woman who he seemed to really want to make a go of it with, without the facade of show business... He expressed true remorse about the way the Teenagers' manager put only his name on the 45 rpm record that gained him success but broke up The Teenagers for good. It was the gall of the manager who added his own name as a second writer of "Why Do Fool Fall In Love" when he had nothing whatsover to do with the writing but helped himself fully to the copyrighted material until the wives found out what was going on...

I would have like to have learned more about Frankie Lymon himself in this movie but I was satisfied that he "meant well."

first off, dont hate the man for being a pimp, and i dont mean hooker leader pimp, i mean smooth mama jama...........but i dont know if it was real, but i am a dog lover, like love dogs more then humans... those of you who are real dog lovers can understand, but when he tossed that dog out, i wanted to kill him myself.........but also i think he was caught up in a bad world, stardom is not as fun as it seems.......frankie seemed like an older version of gary coleman, and i haven't seen any real pics of his women, but i KNOW they are nowhere near as hot as the women who portrayed them in the movie, so, maybe he wasn't that smooth

reply

Uhh he didn't mean to throw the dog out. It bit his hand and he dropped it. He was in the process of pulling it in when it bit him. The reason he held it out the window was cause he was a drug addict and needed his fix. I doubt if he was doing drugs he would have done that. So I say *beep* the dog.

He didn't need looks to get the ladies. He had talent. Listen to his friggen voice people.
